Selamat petang kawan kawan! (Or “Good afternoon, friends!” My name is Ryan Moh, and I’m an international student from Malaysia studying at the U of A. People usually call me “Ryan” or “Mou” because many people can’t really pronounce my last name correctly. Right now I’m a freshman enrolled in the Walton College of Business majoring in International Business. During my spare time, I like to play basketball, watch Korean or Hong Kong dramas or any “blockbuster movie”. I am especially a big fan of food videos, like “Worth It” and videos on how food is made.

There are several types of housing options that you will find once you start looking. It’s important to consider what matters most to you when choosing a place to live. Some people might be certain that they want the experience of having a roommate (or several roommates) and living in a townhouse with lots of common area space is the best option for them. Others may know themselves well enough to be sure that they need complete privacy and a home all to themselves so a one-bedroom or studio apartment may be the better option in this case.

As a freshman, living in a residence hall was one of the best decisions I ever made. I continued to live with my Pomfret Hall roommate along with our other friends that we met in the Pomfret study rooms even when we moved to off-campus housing.

My name is Neel Chanchad and I am an international doctoral student from India currently studying at the University of Arkansas in the Department of Industrial Engineering. My long term goal is to work with some Fortune 500 companies to help them optimize their processes, for example, the optimization of the J.B.Hunt logistic system or maybe optimizing Amazon Prime delivery services by optimally designing the transportation network of trucks.
