WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN THE CARIBBEAN STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (CSA)?

You should join the CSA because we provide the 3 C’s…

  1. COMMUNITY– a social group whose members share a common interest of exposing the University of Arkansas students to the Caribbean.
  2. COMFORT– a familiar environment where you’re able to interact with persons from similar countries or in some cases the same country.
  3. CULTURE– we strive to put on events throughout the academic school year in attempts to expose the student body to our culture. Specifically our two major events are a carnival parade in the fall and a banquet in the spring, along with other smaller events.

The Caribbean Students Association (often abbreviated as the CSA) began in 2008 at the University of Arkansas with the motto “United by Waters.” The CSA strives to create awareness within the student body and provide a balanced schedule of cultural, social, educational and recreational events for the enjoyment of all. The CSA is open to all students regardless of age, disability, ethnic origin, marital status, race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

CSA meets bimonthly on a Friday evening from 6PM – 8PM with the location to be announced.

CSA invites all to join them in efforts to keep the Caribbean culture alive!!
