The University of Arkansas and the surrounding area of Fayetteville have garnered both national and international attention this week, and we can’t help but share it with you!
1. FAYETTEVILLE RANKS THIRD BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE U.S.
According to U.S. New & World Report, Fayetteville, Arkansas, the hometown of the University of Arkansas, was ranked THIRD best place to live in the United States! The ‘2016 Best Places to Live’ list ranks the country’s 100 largest metropolitan areas based on affordability, job prospects and quality of life. Fayetteville was named after only Denver, Colorado, which was named the No. 1 place to live, followed by Austin, Texas, at No. 2. Although we are biased and believe Fayetteville is the BEST place to live, work, and go to school, we are extremely proud of this recognition! To read more about this, please visit here.

Our international student ambassador attended the D.A.B Body Shaming event, which shed a light on an issue that is not often addressed. A lot of times, people do not even know they are stereotyping the image of themselves or another person. This event gave people encouragement to love themselves for who they are, and celebrate self-love and acceptance.
